More than a profile.
A photo and a few filters don’t tell someone’s whole story. Shared values, interests, everyday needs and the life you want together matter too.
That’s the idea behind Capire. Our name means “to understand” in Italian. We’re building around serious relationships, marriage and long-term companionship, with space to get to know each other at your own pace.
Who it’s for.
The app is focused on specially abled adults aged 18 and over in India. A parent or trusted person can help if the adult wants them to; that choice stays with the person looking for a partner.
Our relationship guides also welcome other adults thinking about companionship or marriage. The app’s focus stays the same.
Easy to use, in your own way.
We’re working on language choices, read-aloud help, clear controls and larger text. Accessibility is part of how we’re building the app, and there’s still work to do.
You can try the accessibility demo on our website. It’s a preview of the idea, rather than a promise that every feature is finished.
Where we are now.
Capire is in private Android beta. People who want to test it can request beta access. We review requests before emailing a personal download password, and testers accept the beta agreement before downloading.
The public Google Play launch is still ahead. If you’d rather wait for that, join the public-launch waitlist. Joining the waitlist doesn’t apply you for beta testing.
This website shares information and updates. It doesn’t offer live profiles, matching or paid matchmaking services.
Supported while we build.
We’re incubated by NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore and GUSEC, the Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council. GITAM Venture Development Centre and Northeastern University in Boston support us through pre-incubation.
